Our founder has hypothyroidism. After her diagnosis, she was not satisfied with the care and support that she got.

How does the home test work?
We post a kit to you. You put the Tasso+ device on your upper arm and press one button. The device collects a small blood sample in a few minutes, with no finger prick. You post the sample to a UK laboratory, and your result goes on your timeline.
How much does a test cost?
Home tests are part of the service, and each test is an extra cost. The planned price is from £50 for a basic thyroid test, and a fuller thyroid test costs more. The planned price of the membership is £12.99 a month. You buy a test only when one is due.
How often do I need a test?
That depends on where you are now. With an underactive thyroid, the usual schedule after a new diagnosis or a dose change is a test about every 3 months, until your results are steady. After that, it is once a year. With an overactive thyroid on antithyroid medicine, tests are more frequent. If you plan a pregnancy or you are pregnant, you need tests more often, and your GP, midwife or specialist sets the schedule. Rowe & Wren keeps the schedule for you.
Does Rowe & Wren replace my GP or endocrinologist?
No. Rowe & Wren supports health tracking, education and conversations with qualified healthcare professionals. It does not diagnose conditions, and it does not recommend medication changes on its own.
Can I add results that I already have?
Yes. Upload results from the NHS or from a private provider, then add your medication, symptoms and important health changes. A test from us is optional.
Who is early access for?
Adults in the UK with an underactive thyroid (hypothyroidism), an overactive thyroid (hyperthyroidism) or Hashimoto’s. This includes people who plan a pregnancy and people who are pregnant.
